Tokyo Japanese Restaurant in Acwortd

Yong Jun K was very rude & disrespectful. God I am NEVER coming back here again. I waiting a long time to be seated. Yong was trying to rush me to order my food. Did not seem friendly AT ALL. However, the food was okay. I tip based on customer service, but she got NOTHING from me ZERO. Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse has permanently LOST a customer FOREVER!!!

We LOVE this place! Best value for your Japanese Steakhouse dollar. Where else can you get a filet mignon dinner for $16?. Just don't order the sweet tea to drink as it always has a bad taste, that is my only complaint. Daughter loves their sushi.

Offensive sewer type oder lingering at the door. Very rude Manager came to the hibachi telling us there was a problem with our order that some of it was Kitchen and some was hibachi. Just take the order and please the customer. No wonder this restaurant was empty on a Saturday night.

My wonderful husband pick me up some avocado rolls as I am pregnant and was craving sushi and they all came with bad avocado in them. This is a crying shame if you know your avocado was bad just say so and not sell it. To make matters worse you charge 11.90 for 2 bad avocado rolls never again. Would give 0 stars if I could!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty good cooking as the hibachi meals of fillet and scallops tasted good and was enjoyed. The kalbi beef was also very good.

Absolutely fantastic Asian cuisine! I got the steak with friend rice Hibachi, and I must say that their fried rice is some of the best I've ever tasted! And, I'm a Chinese/Japanese food fanatic! I definitely recommend trying it out.

Floor was filthy, yum yum sauce bottle was unclean and dirt was around the rim. Quality of food has gone down.

Sushi and rice tasted stale. That's probably why lemon wedges were in between every piece, it was too disgusting to eat!

Food wasn’t good, so much oil was used that my plate was covered and my food was floating in it, the place was dirty and had cooking grease and oil dripping from the ceiling onto our plates of food. Overall just not a good experience, will not be coming back. Don’t waste your money you’ll just end up with a stomach ache.

Despite its looks, the food here was really good. Moderately less expensive than your other hibachi choices in the area, and probably less crowded.

Very good , hibachi table service great, but not always available

Waiter was very helpful and informative when it came to ordering our food. But, we were feeling rush to leave because they close at 10:30 and we arrived at 10:00. The hot sake I ordered came in a dirty jar and something was floating around when I poured my drink😐🤷🏽‍♂️overall good food and cheap price compared to other Japanese steakhouses..

Great Food!!! Love the Chef, Luke! He always remembers us and makes us feel welcome. My 10 year old daughter loves listening to his jokes and watching him cook. The only thing that I can think of is they might clean the carpets and stove tops though.

First of all they served me mr. Pibb knowing that they were low on syrup for it...second they did seem to pleased that we were there

The food was delicious, good service and friendly employees. The prices are very good. The hibachi chef was talented, friendly, and funny. We've never had a bad experience there.

Best sushi and fried rice!! We drive from Douglasville to eat here! The "sushi man" is the nicest guy and makes the best sushi anywhere around!

The food here is always great. The habachi never fails. Now I will say the chef is a hit or miss in terms of being entertaining. For reasonably priced habachi this is the place.

My favorite hibachi spot! Food is great. You cant go wrong with the chicken and shrimp with fried rice. Prices are good and the twins give excellent service!

3 servers, not that busy, but because the servers were young they would rather flirt with some teenage boy and argue about who was going to take our order. After 30 to 45 mins, finally got our drinks ordered... Service sucked all together... Way over priced for food quality! Will not be going back!

Would give a lower rating if possible. Decided to eat here tonight and had the worst service I have had in a very long time. The greeting was awkward but we were seated quickly. Drink orders were taken and delivered in a timely fashion then it went down hill. We were the last two people seated at our table. Our orders were taken and we waited 10-15 minutes on soup/salad. Others were seated at the table behind us as we continued to wait. No acknowledgement from our server and the table behind us started to have their meal prepared. I heard several complaints that they were being prepared the wrong food. After waiting a little over an hour we informed our server that we were not going to wait any longer for our food to be prepared. She did not say anything and we left and went down he street and got food at another establishment in under 15 minutes. We will not be returning

I call this special restaurant every couple of days since I love the special air that is exist in this restaurant. The crew is extremely loyal and qualified. The service is certainly efficient. Not to mention, the food they serve is first-rate. I have been there more than once and I was always delighted. The pay is decent. I suggest this place to to everybody.

Have been eating this for a long time. Food is always good. The bad reviesron here are from other restaurants trying to bring the score down. I have never had bad service or food.

This place was awesome. The food was top shelf and the staff were awesome. my drink was never empty and you must try the chicken. The very nice waitress even helped with cleaning off the baby. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I really used to love this place because the food is tasty and the prices are pretty fair. However, for some reason they CANNOT get my order right! Every time I order takeout my sushi order is wrong, I tried again today and was explicit over the phone about what I wanted and it was still wrong! I went back inside and they remade it (had to pay an additional fee) and when I got home it was STILL wrong!! I’m not sure if it’s the fault of the server or chef but either way it’s annoying. As good as the food can be I don’t plan on returning.

This is Acworth best kept Oriental secret! The food is amazing, the owners and staff are wonderful, and the place is very clean...oh, and it's extremely well-priced! Whenever anyone asks me for a recommendation on Japanese food in the area, I always tell them to come to this place. We love coming here and supporting them!

Some of the very best sushi I've found in Acworth comfortable sitting clean so she was phenomenal did a great job on making it extra spicy in the hand rolled tuna I highly suggest the Tokyo roll which comes with salmon cream cheese deep-fried temporis Style the attempt or side of the minion is pretty extensive and the fabulous Billows of Fire coming from the grill it is great. Highly recommended

No where nearly as good as it use to be. Poor waitress service. Watered down yum yum sauce and no dipping sauces for the meats. The sushi was good and the other was ok. Everything was sticky from uncleaned surfaces. Not even a fortune cookie. Gone way down hill
